The most prolonged cold spell of the winter is set to hit Cornwall over the coming days, according to the Met Office.
Frost is expected on Tuesday with more sleet to follow on Wednesday, according to a Met Office spokesman.
Temperatures could go as low as -2c in the early hours of Tuesday.
