A BUMPER contingent of more than 150 hardy souls took the plunge at Poldhu Cove for a Boxing Day charity swim.The swim, raising money for Children's Hospice South West, also attracted a crowd of spectators numbering more than 400 and raised £455.33 for the charity.A low tide and choppy seas didn't put off those taking part and also making an appearance was the 771 squadron search and rescue helicopter that circled overhead during one of its final flights.The event was organised by Poldhu...
