A powerboat festival could be held in Falmouth next summer bringing £2 million to the town's economy. The ambitious plans would see a series of races across Falmouth Bay, with viewing points stretching from Pendennis Point to Swanpool.
The Powerboat P1 racing, which takes place on a tight circuit, attracts hundreds of millions of TV viewers worldwide, and has seen competitions taking place in three continents.
