Railway sites in Cornwall are set to be sold off to provide land for new homes, it has been revealed. Network Rail, which is responsible for Britain's railway infrastructure, has said it is finalising plans to sell almost 200 sites around the South West to make way for about 12,000 homes.According to rail bosses, the plans are part of an on-going decade-long process by Network Rail to sell land for development and use the money generated to invest in the railway.Read...
