Wildlife watchers were treated to a rare encounter with a frolicking pod of inquisitive dolphins along the Cornish coast.
A total of 17 bottlenose dolphins were counted in the sea off Penzance on Wednesday, including adults and juveniles.
Passengers on a sight-seeing boat watched the cetaceans charging through the surf in Mount's Bay while state-of-the-art recording equipment captured the cacophony below.
