FALMOUTH underlined their supremacy in men's gig rowing by winning their sixth successive world title on St Mary's this afternoon.Challenged strongly by Looe, in Talisman and Caradon, in Amazon, in the early stages of the race, the defending champions, rowing in Black Rock, pulled away at the halfway stage.Talisman maintained the pressure and managed a late surge but failed to pip the Falmouth men by a couple of seconds with Amazon third.
