THE navy has called for the Freedom of Helston Parade – the greatest honour that can be given by the town – to be pushed back to the autumn.The parade, which sees sailors from Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose march through the streets with fixed bayonets and swords drawn, is typically held in June.
