PEOPLE who buy or sell second hand goods are being urged to make sure the items are safe.The warning comes after the Cornwall Council's Trading Standards team carried out a review of second-hand products sold by retailers across the Duchy.Of those tested, 13 per cent of electrical items were seized after failing the standard safety testing.Meanwhile seven per cent of upholstered furniture did not contain a Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations warning label.Andy Burnside from...
